Obituary for Joseph Patrick Ryan
Joseph Patrick Ryan, 93, passed away May 12, 2019 in Hancock. He was born in Bar Harbor, March 5, 1926 the son of James Patrick and Mary (Carlin) Ryan.
Joe graduated from Bar Harbor High School in 1944 and entered the U S Navy and served as Chief Gunners Mate. Upon retirement in 1983, he became a civil servant as a butcher. He enjoyed golfing, spending winters in Myrtle Beach, SC, and spending time with his beloved sister, Anna C. Ryan of Bar Harbor. He was predeceased by his brother, James E. Ryan IN 1999 and sister, Rita Mary Ryan in 1947.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 am, May 16, 2019 at the Holy Redeemer Church, 21 Ledgelawn Ave., Bar Harbor. Interment will be at Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
